The fuel level is in the reserve range.
ColourAmber
UrgencyLow
Can I keep driving? Safe to drive short-term, but have it checked to avoid failed emissions or worse fuel economy.
What to do
- Refuel soon.
- Running a tank completely dry can damage the fuel pump and, on diesels, require bleeding the fuel system.
Symbols and colours vary between manufacturers. Your owner's manual shows the exact symbols used in your car. In general, red means stop or act now, amber/yellow means check soon, and green/blue lights are information only.
