Can I keep driving? Limit driving and diagnose promptly. Continued driving can cause damage, stalling or limp mode.
What to do
- The car can be driven, but occupant protection may be reduced.
- Have the SRS codes read by a workshop.
- Don't probe airbag wiring yourself: airbags can deploy unexpectedly.
Symbols and colours vary between manufacturers. Your owner's manual shows the exact symbols used in your car. In general, red means stop or act now, amber/yellow means check soon, and green/blue lights are information only.
